English as a Second Language (ESL)


Peninsula College Education Transition Centers offer beginning, intermediate, and advanced English as a Second Language (ESL) courses for students.
  • Is English not your native language?
  • Do you need to improve your English so you can be employed?
  • Do you need help with your English so you can enter regular college courses?

The Peninsula College ESL Program:
  • Helps you identify your English level
  • Helps you learn English skills you will need on the job
  • Offers English classes in listening, speaking, reading, and writing
  • Assists in such related areas as job-search techniques, emergency and survival words, and coping skills
