Multimedia Communications Students

Prospective students should be sure to visit
the
Multimedia Communications website.

The multimedia communications program prepares students for entry level employment in a variety of multimedia careers including graphic design, digital photography, web design, web animation, and design for print publications. Foundation courses provide students with hands-on experience using a number of multimedia and content development software applications. Core courses help students develop a solid understanding of visual communication and provide a strong foundation of multimedia concepts and skills. Capstone courses offer a unique opportunity for students to interact with local businesses and clients while creating a collective portfolio of student work. Successful completion of this program leads to an Associate of Applied Science Transfer degree in Multimedia Communications Graphics or Web Design and Ecommerce Technologies. Students are required to have access to Adobe Design Premium software. Students who plan to complete the Graphics option or enroll in a digital photography course must supply their own digital camera.
