| The WorkFirst Financial Aid Program pays tuition and book costs for eligible parents who are taking classes to improve their work skills and to increase their wage earning capacity. Participants must be Washington State residents and financially responsible for their children, and either - Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) recipients who have an approved plan, or
- Working parents who have a family income within Program Income Level Guidelines.
WorkFirst Financial Aid helps parents who are not receiving other financial aid. A minimum number of class credits is not required for program participation, but students must be enrolled in work-related classes that lead to better skills and/or higher wages. | | For WorkFirst Financial Aid Program information and eligibility requirements, please call: | Sheila Martin, WorkFirst Student Services Coordinator (360) 417-6351 or toll free (877) 452-9277, Ext. 6351 | |
