ALL DISCIPLINES--A-to-Z Index to Electronic Journals View a list of over 12,000 full-text electronic journals contained within Peninsula College Library subscription databases.

ALL DISCIPLINES--Academic Search Premier Designed specifically for academic institutions, EBSCO Academic Search Premier is a scholarly, full text, multidisciplinary database, indexing more than 8,200 journals, with full text for nearly 4,500 of those titles, covering the social sciences, humanities, and natural sciences.

ALL DISCIPLINES--EBRARY ACADEMIC COMPLETE Ebrary Academic Complete is a full-text database of e-books covering all subject areas. The collection currently includes more than 30,000 titles from more than 220 of the worlds leading academic, STM (scientific, technical, medical), and professional publishers. Please note: Ebrary is scheduling monthly system maintenance on the first Tuesday of each month, from 8:00PM to 10:00PM US Pacific Time. During this period, the ebrary service may be unavailable.

ALL DISCIPLINES – E-LIBRARY Educators can use E-Library to locate K-12 resources by content standard and reading level for lesson planning. E-Library includes popular magazines, scholarly journals, current newspapers and newswires, television and radio transcripts, audio and video clips, hundreds of reference and historical books and documents, and thousands of educator-reviewed editor’s choice websites.

ALL DISCIPLINES--ProQuest Retrieves articles in over 3,000 magazines, journals, and newspapers, many of them with full text. Includes a collection of Washington State newspapers and full-text coverage of the last three years of "The New York Times".

ALL DISCIPLINES--Reference Premium Online (Oxford University Press) This reference collection contains more than 100 dictionary, language reference, and subject reference works published by Oxford University Press, including titles from the acclaimed Oxford Companions Series, plus the Oxford Dictionary of Quotations.

BUSINESS--ABI/INFORM Trade & Industry ABI/INFORM includes in-depth coverage of companies, products, executives, trends, and other topics for more than 1,210 publications, with over 1,160 in full-text allowing study and comparison of specific trades and industries, including telecommunications, computing, transportation, construction, petrochemicals, and many others.

BUSINESS--Small Business Resource Center The Small Business Center provides information in all major areas of starting and operating a business including financing, management, marketing, human resources, franchising, accounting and taxes, including a "How To" menu that tackles the most-frequently asked new business questions. The SBRC also includes nearly 200 business journals -- both specialty/vertical market and general business.

EDUCATION--Teacher Reference Center (TRC) Journal information for K-12 teachers & librarians that provides coverage on key education topics such as Assessment, Continuing Education, Current Pedagogical Research, Curriculum Development, Instructional Media, Language Arts, Literacy Standards, Science & Mathematics, and more.

HISTORY RESOURCE CENTER: US Provides access to over 1,000 historical (primary) documents, more than 30,000 reference articles, and over 65 full-text journal covering U.S. history from pre-Colonial times to the present.

HISTORY RESOURCE CENTER: World Provides extensive coverage of the 20th century in addition to the ancient Mediterranean, Near East, Asia, Middle East, Latin America, the Middle Ages and the Renaissance in over 2,000 primary sources, 25 reference titles and 110 academic journals.

LANGUAGE OR LINGUISTICS--Mango Languages Mango Languages is an online language-learning system teaching actual conversation skills for a wide variety of languages, including: Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Italian, Greek, Japanese, French, German, Russian, Mandarin Chinese, Polish, and ESL for Spanish speakers.

LIBRARY & INFORMATION SCIENCE--LISTA Library, Information Science & Technology Abstract (LISTA) indexes more than 600 periodicals, plus books, research reports and proceedings. Subject coverage includes librarianship, classification, cataloging, bibliometrics, online information retrieval, information management and more. Coverage in the database extends back as far as the mid-1960s.

LITERATURE--Literary Databases Includes literary biographies and literary criticism. Comprised of three databases: "Contemporary Authors," "Contemporary Literary Criticism Select," and the "Dictionary of Literary Biography."

LITERATURE--Literary Index Indexes over 90 literary reference resources, 135,000 authors, and 165,000 literary works. International in scope.

LITERATURE--Magill On Literature Provides critical analyses and brief plot summaries of the most studied works of literature. This database provides access to the complete contents of 31 sets of reference books, including "Masterplots" and "Masterplots II."

NEWS--Ethnic NewsWatch An interdisciplinary, bilingual (English and Spanish) and comprehensive full text database of newspapers, magazines and journals from ethnic, minority and native presses. This database begins its coverage in 1990.

NEWS--New York Times Full-text coverage of national and international news, plus coverage of important speeches and documents, Supreme Court decisions, and presidential press conference transcripts.

NEWS--Wall Street Journal The financial newspaper of record offering in-depth coverage of national and international finance as well as first rate coverage of hard news.

SCIENCE--Access Science Provides online access to the "McGraw-Hill Encyclopedia of Science & Technology." Additional features include biographies of notable scientists and current developments in the fields of science and technology.

SCIENCE--ENVIRONMENT COMPLETE (EBSCO) Environment Complete offers full text of journal articles and monographs, and more than one million indexing records going back to the 1950s, in agriculture, ecosystem ecology, energy, natural resources, marine & freshwater science, geography, pollution & waste management, environmental technology, environmental law, public policy, social impacts, urban planning, and more.

SCIENCE--GreenFile Focusing on the relationship between human beings and the environment, this database contains abstracts and indexing for more than 600 journals (300,000 scholarly and general interest articles) on topics ranging from global warming to recycling to alternate fuel sources. Full text is provided for more than 4,600 records from open access titles. Includes comprehensive coverage (from to volume 1, issue 1 to present) for Bioscience (back to 1964), Conservation Biology (back to 1987), Journal of Ecology (back to 1913) and Journal of Environmental Planning & Management (back to 1948).
