Credits and Credit Load
The academic year is divided into three quarters of approximately 11 weeks each. The normal course load per quarter is 15 credit hours. For purposes of tuition and fee calculations, 10-18 credit hours are considered full time. The Veterans Administration, Immigration, and Naturalization Services, as well as some financial aid programs, require a minimum of 12 credit hours for a full-course load. There is also a summer quarter of approximately eight weeks.
