Students seeking employment on or off campus have a variety of options for assistance at Peninsula College:
CAREER SERVICES OFFICE
Part time work off campus. Local employers contact this office to list part time (and full time) employment opportunities. These jobs usually offer flexible hours to match student schedules, and are generally entry-level positions. Students may come directly to the office for information, or check job announcements in the PUB, or administration building. This office also provides information on jobs currently listed with Employment Security.
FINANCIAL AID OFFICE
Students receiving financial aid may qualify for work on or off campus as part of the federal or state work-study programs. Qualified students generally contact prospective employers in fields related to his/her majors, then refer them to the financial aid office for approval. Employers are reimbursed for a portion of the salary, and provide valuable work experience for students.
