International Exchange Programs
China:
Students and professors from Peninsula College enjoy a continuous cultural exchange with the country of China. Each year, they have the opportunity to travel to China to teach English, learn the Chinese language, and experience the cultural life. Peninsula College also hosts visiting professors and scholars from China, who teach Chinese language, culture, literature, observing classes, and conducting research. Currently, Peninsula College holds exchange agreements with 1 university, 2 junior colleges, and 1 international exchange agency.
- Guilin University of Electronic Technology, which is located in the beautiful city of Guilin, China. GUET has a decade long relationship with PC and it sends a professor to PC to teach credited Chinese language classes each year. In addition, GUET sends 2 - 3 visiting scholars to PC for one quarter annually.
- Guangxi Vocational and Technical Institute of Industry, a junior college, located in the capital city, Nanning of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in China. GVTII has signed an agreement with PC for faculty and student exchange.
- Guangdong AIB Polytechnic College, a junior college in Guangzhou City of Guangdong Province in China. AIB has signed agreements for faculty exchange as well as student short-term training programs.
- East & West International Exchange Inc.
Peninsula College and East & West International Exchange Inc. of Guangxi, China, established an international exchange agreement in 2000, which focuses on short-term summer programs and student recruitment. So far, Peninsula College and East & West have had several successful summer programs.
Japan:
In 2005 Peninsula College established a sister school relation with Kanda University and Kanda Institute of Foreign Languages, which are located in Tokyo, Japan. Each summer, Kanda Institute of Foreign Languages sends a group of students to our summer program. In addition, earch year a great number of graduates from KIFL come to PC to pursue their second AA or AAS degrees.
