Study Abroad

Study Abroad Program

When you join a WCCCSA (Washington Community College Consortium for Study Abroad) Study Abroad program, you have the opportunity to learn, grow and explore - to stretch the limits of your horizons.

WCCCSA faculty compliment classroom learning with trips to local museums, historical and other significant sites, and to related events. Students are also encouraged to learn by observing and interacting with the local citizenry and by traveling to places of interest on the weekends.

When you study abroad, you not only learn about other cultures and other ways of experiencing the world, you gain insight into your own culture and how it is perceived by others.

Your experience abroad will change your outlook on life and it will likely affect the choices you make for your future. Your international experience will give you an advantage in our increasingly global society: cross-cultural awareness, adaptability and problem solving skills are qualities that earn you respect in the job market and give you the confidence to succeed.

So, consider the value of studying abroad - you'll earn college credit while stretching yourself as an individual and becoming an informed citizen of the world!
