Pirates seek return to NWAACCs

  The tradition that is Pirate basketball will be renewed with new faces on the floor and a few new faces on the bench as the Peninsula College players and coaches open their 2009-10 season. The perennial NWAACC basketball powerhouse will put another exciting team on the floor, featuring height, athletic ability, talent, depth, shooting and defense. Head coach Peter Stewart has done a lot in his seven years at PC, including three North Division Championships, Coach of the Year honors, and third and fouth-place NWAACC Tournament trophies. Look for the 2009-10 Pirates to be back in the thick of the NWAACC basketball picture.
