TRANSFER FIELDTRIP TO SEATTLE-AREA...

Thirty-six Peninsula College students and staff have given a huge “thumbs-up” to their January 23 Transfer Fieldtrip to the University of Puget Sound and the University of Washington – Tacoma.

Students who traveled on Peninsula College’s “Black Pearl” bus had the chance to tour the campuses, learn about admissions from advisors, talk to current students, and check out Tacoma.

Participants included international and domestic students of all ages and career interests, and student feedback has been very positive.  Many said it was helpful just to experience different campuses and expand their understanding of how unique university offerings can be.

Another fieldtrip will be held during the spring quarter. It is scheduled April 23 and will be to the University of Washington in Seattle.
