As a Peninsula College student you are expected to…


1.Take responsibility for yourself, your actions, and your education.

2. Know and follow academic policies, deadlines, and procedures as listed in college materials.

3. Respect others, challenge culture-bound assumptions, explore and appreciate different cultures, and contribute to an increasingly diverse global community.

4. Read all materials sent to you by the college and be aware of campus resources.

5. Balance the demands of school with work, family, and other obligations.

6. Be responsible for initiating scheduling, advising appointments, registering for classes, requesting transcripts, and applying for graduation.

7. Know your instructors, administrators, advisors, and peers.

8. Understand what instructors expect and be aware of all grading policies, due dates, and test schedules.

9. Be an active participant in the classroom and participate in activities outside of the classroom like clubs, athletics, and extra-curricular activities.

10. Seek out credible sources of information.
